National Association of Women Business Owners

NAWBO represents the interests of women entrepreneurs in all industry.  It has 80 chapters and over 8,000 members in the United States.  Members are drawn from sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners with day-to-day management responsibility.  Its objectives include:

The National Women Business Owners Corporation 
 

NWBOC, NAWBO’s sister organization and the sister organization of the Center for Women's Business Research (CWBR), seeks to increase competition for corporate and government contracts through “implementation of a pioneering economic development strategy for women business owners. 

 

NWBOC offers women-owned and controlled businesses a national certification program, which more than 100 private and public agencies now accept.
